Terri Lee
 

Terri Lee Butler was inspired by her birth-father, singer-songwriter Roger Koob, who sang with The Premiers, The Frontiers, Roger & the Travelers and is the author of the popular tune "Your Daddy's Little Girl".  Her formal training began with organ lessons starting at age eight. By 10 years old, Butler had written her first song and was the church organist at Blessed Sacrament Church, Saugus, MA.

 

During the 1990's, Terri Lee joined the Connecticut Songwriter's Association, the Boston Songwriter's Workshop, the Gospel Music Association and BMI. She attended Berklee College of Music and obtained a Music Business Certificate. In 1999, Terri Lee became the lead singer of the classic rock cover band, Hard Drive and then in 2003 she sang and played keyboard for the Bah Flies. 

 

In 2003, Terri Lee Butler was one of three founding members of North Shore Community College's first music club (Lynn, MA.) From 2004 - 2007, she was a member of Salem State College's Music Society, and sang in the Salem State College Jazz Band and the Salem State College Woman's Chorale.

 

In 2007, Terri Lee won awards for several of her original songs in the Song of the Year Contest, sponsored by VH1.  She also recorded a CD of her own music.

 

In 2010, Terri Lee created WECAM (WE Care About Music). The goal of WECAM is to support local musicians, artists and writers, uniting them to strengthen the community. WECAM views creativity as an essential aspect of daily life and is committed to helping local musicians, artists and writers share their talent and skill.
